My impression of seattle traffic is that it really gets congested in seattle...
Also, if one did live in that Redmond location, how far would you have to commute just to get groceries? You would be paying heavily in gas prices in exchange.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936637281134795592.post-73786497334069685112011-08-15T23:25:54.936-07:002011-08-15T23:25:54.936-07:00Yes, but Burnaby and the North Shore is also 21 mi...Yes, but Burnaby and the North Shore is also 21 minutes away from Vancouver core and I think you could find something a lot nicer than the example given.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great comparison and Vancouver IS over priced.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936637281134795592.post-30012806723449661422011-08-15T20:15:57.708-07:002011-08-15T20:15:57.708-07:00Regarding the suggestion that Redmond, because it ...Regarding the suggestion that Redmond, because it is a suburb of Seattle, is an unfair comparison... Interestingly VREAA thought about this and did a Google Earth search, looking at commutes to the downtown centers of both cities.

Guess what? Google Earth puts UBC as 21 minutes from Vancouver downtown and the Redmond property at 21 minutes from Seattle downtown!

So both homes are a similar distance to their downtown cores.Whispererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03524022285962626228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936637281134795592.post-45965967749783103292011-08-15T13:22:35.176-07:002011-08-15T13:22:35.176-07:00Vancouver is about to get a serious wake up call. ...Vancouver is about to get a serious wake up call.
