  1. I enjoy your blog W.... generally I drop by a couple or so times a day to see what you have written... Nice seeing a perspective from nearby. Have a very nice Christmas and NYE!

  2. PS .. a good series on BBC today... The Partys Over, How the West Went Bust.

  3. HI this is a *special * for the vancouver and Toronto new home owner (2006-2012) who think and argue Real estate always going up : China's Real Estate Bubble May Have Just Popped. Shanghai homeowners are hardly the only ones getting nervous. Sudden, steep price reductions are upending real estate markets across China. According to the property agency Homelink, new home prices in Beijing dropped 35 percent in November alone. And the free fall may continue for some time.

  7. I hold your views in very high regard. Sold my home of 34 years in Wpg and used much of the proceeds to purchase gold and silver. Now renting a farmhouse in the country. Hope to buy some property in a couple of years for about 50 to 75 cents on the dollar. If it doesn't happen, well I've still got some nice insurance against hard times. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas.

  8. Thanks for all your hard work through the year. Always interesting to see a blend of ZH, Jesse, etc. and your original posts.
